When you can't even be trusted to run a !@#$ing screen correctly, you really can't be on the field.

Thankfully the staff finally realized that. Because if he were out there for Hardman on Sunday, we very easily could've lost that game.
That longball was a really freaking good play that Skyy ain't making. Surely he would have been good for the corndog play again, but there is no guarantee. But Skyy isn't making that longball play.

I'm not sure they follow him like they did if it's Moore. Teams just stopped respecting anything Moore did because he wasn't in the progression at all.

And hell, the timing from Hardman was pristine - without breaking back at the perfect time (just as Ward would've lost him behind the OL), that play doesn't work.

Maybe Moore muddles through it somehow but that's not an assumption I'm willing to make. We've seen him fail on simpler concepts too many times.

Fair. And don't get me wrong. I'm not pining for Moore. But you might be right about him being substantially worse than last year.

And just in case it hasn't been said enough, I'll take a victory lap for you wanting Hardman to come back for the trade deadline. That was a good call.

Ward was probably just running the company line. And maybe it is better. Training camp is probably easier. Rat SR was doing no pad practices way back in the late 90’s to keep players fresh while Marty was still doing the Oklahoma drill at Chiefs camp.

But whatever he has to say doesn’t really resonate with me. His DC PUT HIM in no man’s land on that last play and Andy, forever the strategist, obliged him by forcing Ward to choose between losing options.

Ward. I say his name and think “whatever”.

You can't blame Ward for chasing the money.

The comments are a different story. He could have answered the question more modestly, even if he enjoys everything more at his current location.
