A level Headed Review Week 11 2024

First - I am writing this without having watched - only listened to half of the 2nd quarter and half of the 3rd. Had to go on an airport run.

Second - we were going to lose at some point, we were fortunate our first loss wasn't last week, yes we made a play at the end of the game but the odds of a FG block ar astronomical. Unfortunate that the first loss comes against Buffalo but we still hold a one game lead against them for the #1 Seed. Buffalo still has to play the 49ers and the Lions of which could be at least one loss. Our schedule is much easier as far as opponents I am concerned with only Denver and the Steelers. I would rather lose to Buffalo now than in the playoffs.

The INT by Pat was just horrible. I get the pocket was collapsing around him but he needs to get better about air mailing passes. Have seen too many of those in the past couple of weeks. Glad to see the rest of the game wasn't

Worthy was the entire first scoring drive (except the Mike Caliendo for 5 yards ). It was almost as if the Chiefs decided to showcase the WR Buffalo traded to them. What a great drive for Worthy 4 receptions for 61 yards and a TD.

Noah Gray with his first multi touchdown game. Hendershot with another catch. I feel like he has made more of a difference with this offense than Wiley has.

The Defense seems to want to blitz Allen from the right side forcing him to his right, which is a huge mistake. Allen can make all the throws rolling to his right. Gotta find the way to pressure him and force him to the left.

N. Johnson got picked on quite a bit today but he managed to have a decent game despite this. The more experience he gets the better we will be as we approach the playoffs. Tied for team lead in tackles with 8 (Connor).

Connor had a great game got the timely INT on 4th down to give the ball back to the O which led to our second score. The Defense isn't getting home with 4 rushers. Hoping Omenihu is going to make more of a difference when he comes back.

Kinda felt like the Allen TD was a "let him score" situation so Pat could get the ball back and we could try again for the win with an onside kick or some other miracle play.

Juju really wasn't the impact I was hoping he would be coming back into the mix with Dhop and Kelce. Hoping Pacheco and Hunt can make us deadly in the running game. Worthy seemed to disappear after that first scoring drive. Hunt was running the ball well but for some reason we weren't using him during the two offensive series it was 16-14

First game in a long time where we lost the TOP 34:03/25:57 - still lost the TO battle 2/1

Didn't get a good look at the OL but they seemed to have done better as the game went on. The first Q was pretty shaky.

Which is great . I’ll take it. But it’s a huge step back from what he was
In 2022 KC had an ELITE offense

5k passing yards 40 TD 30 PPG number 1 in the league

One of which is against a really good Lions team - I'm putting money on a Buffalo loss there - the Rams are no pushover either.

If Buffalo kicks a FG, they'd be up 5.

The Chiefs were never kicking a FG in that scenario going the other way.

Meh. If Worthy let that ball hit the ground, it would’ve been at least 4 yds inbounds. Worthy just sucks at knowing where the sideline is, period. If almost any other WR3 in the league had been there, it’s a fairly routine catch. He needs to figure that out.

Yeah, BUF was never kicking there. Not after all the losses in the past. They were going to step on the Chiefs’ throats if they could. I’ts what I would’ve done 100/100 times.

I think www.chiefsplanet.com is learning. In years past we would have been melting down over this game (some people anyway)

Now it's kind of a meh... We'll get em in the playoffs.

If the ref called holding there and made it 4th and 12, that was the only way Buffalo was kicking it.

Would have made for a more interesting finish for sure.

Long term this may be the best thing for us, if we get to rest starters in Weeks 17 or 18.

Because now there is no reason not to if it comes to that.

Morris was mostly a steady presence, that was kinda nice... its something to build on for now until Veach signs the most reliable young vet LT out there this offseason, that is

This is why the whole "Undefeated Season" talk never made sense. I have no doubt Andy would have sat his starters, especially after this brutal ten day run upcoming.

No one needs a ****ing wakeup call, JFC.

Massively shorthanded, they lost a game in one of the toughest places to play in America by a coin flip.

When the Bills lose to the Niners next week this game will be immediately forgotten and never talked about again.
