They aren't that bad just way overpriced. I'll go with Olive Garden for the salad and breadsticks. I live in the PNW so I'm kind of a snob when it comes to seafood.

If I am going Olive Garden I am going with an appetizer of Spicy Calabrian Chicken and entree of Ravioli di Portobello.
If I am going Red Lobster I am getting water with lemon. |

Interesting question, because I've eaten at both of them in the last week.
I like Red Lobster a lot. Of course here in KC we don't get the kind of seafood like you would in Maryland, or the Gulf Coast, or Pacific Coast. But they do a decent job. I've never had trouble getting as many biscuits as I could possibly want. I love shrimp, so I can wreck some endless shrimp nights. I took my wife to Olive Garden last night. One of our kitties passed away yesterday and she was feeling blue, so I took her out to dinner. She had the Tour of Italy. I just had spaghetti and meatballs. Reasonable, got out without drinking alcohol for the two of us for less than $40. Of the two I like Red Lobster better. I make better meatballs at home than OG, but I like their salad. |

Olive Garden used to be pretty good about 10 years ago, now its nasty. Ive never been to Red Lobster (hate seafood) so I shall abstain.

They do have a good salad George, as long as they keep shredding the cheese.

If you're ever in Memphis stay away from the BBQ joint that obviously used to be a Red Lobster. Disgusting and dirty. Worst BBQ Ive ever had other than Heady's in Republic and Bubba's in Springfield.

If it is, its probably a franchise that runs all or most of the Nashville Red Lobsters, because everyone I have been to is crap.

I've heard good things about Carrabba's which is right down the road from Red Lobster but I'm picking up the tab for 15~ people and pretty sure the kids won't mind what they shovel down their throat. It's gonna be an Old Crow evening. |

I always chime in with something like "you better take a deep breath and stretch out your fingers so you don't pull something because you are about to get a workout."

Drive the Oregon and Washington coast and stop at some of the local restaurants and you'll never want to eat red lobster again.
