Did Mahomes ever work out with Skyy Moore prior to the draft?

Maybe that's something they do more going forward, until the NFL outlaws it. Because his connection he built with Rice clearly must have lead him to argue for Rice, which lead to Veach trading up for him, and we're seeing the dividends of that now.

Going back to the Denver game....the offense looked alot better to me? We absolutely mowed the ball up and down the field, just did some dumb shit in the redzone.

I still don’t buy that. If the chiefs thought enough of skyy they could have easily found him plenty of reps. A veteran isn’t getting in the way of that. So then move down the line… we wouldn’t have needed to rush toney to play week 1, Mvs doesn’t need this kind of massive snap share, we knew what we have in Watson.

A veteran wasn’t in the way of developing young guys back then, and it isn’t in the way now. It should not be a factor if we can get one at a price or comp we can afford (I am skeptical there will be in midseason).
