Our standards are high because we know what Mahomes is capable of and we've seen it for years.

So when it doesn't happen it's natural yo ask, "why?".

Well, he's not gonna be "one of the best seasons in the history of the NFL" in terms of QB play good every year.

Some of the struggles with the offense are on him and Andy as well.

We're gonna get a real good idea in the next month how good this team really is. 1 cupcake in the next 4 weeks.

For the most part I agree. It's the race for home field advantage that's so important

What's wrong with the RPO's?

They're going to drop a game or two, and I fully expect the week after to be absolutely unbearable on CP.

And we'll still be hosting the AFCCG with a really good shot at the Super Bowl.

All of the other contenders have issues, too, you guys.

Of the four swings Veach took at WR, we have one apparent hit, one apparent miss, Toney missed camp and has been used bizarrely since, and Ross is an incomplete but has appeared to get open and get targets in a tiny sample size.

So, three of the four are still in play as to whether they're plus players or not.

I honestly have no idea what they're doing with Toney, it makes no sense at all. I seriously doubt he's just regressed entirely since February.

Gotta be equal to what would get as a comp pick, one would think.

Reid is doing just enough to win while protecting his hand.

I thought he was washed up and was glad the Chiefs didn’t sign him this offseason, but Adam Thielen statistically is having a big season.

A veteran WR who is reliable catching the ball and running routes… would be a value addition to the Chiefs WR group.
