Uhhh...the Falcons game was nothing compared to the Tuck Rule and Seattle's chokejob on the goal line. Or McVay/Goff scoring 3 effing points! Or Dee Ford lining up offsides. At least Brady did some amazing stuff to beat Atlanta. He didn't do shit against the McVay Rams or Seahawks. He was outplayed in that Seattle game until the goal line ending. And he absolutely deserved to lose to the Raiders in the snow. Deserved to lose against the Chiefs as well, if not for Dee Ford. Brady threw multiple picks in that game.

Brady admitted in conversation with Charles Woodson that the Tuck Rule play was a damn fumble. We all know it was. In fact, it was a fumble in every other era of football. It was a fumble in Bart Starr's era. It was a fumble in Terry Bradshaw's era. It was a fumble in Joe Montana's era. It was a fumble in Troy Aikman's era. It is a fumble in the current era. For a very brief period of time (1999 to 2013), that stupid Tuck Rule gave Brady the luckiest play of his entire life. He said Belichick would have benched him the next season if that play was ruled a fumble. Maybe he's a career backup in that scenario, lol

Luckiest player and franchise in football history. Imagine losing a SB like Seattle did on the goal line without using Marshawn. I'll take yesterday all day every day over that shit.

So, as a glutton for punishment, I decide to go look at the PFF grades.

They gave Thuney a 60.7 pass block grade. Taylor got a 57.3.

I mean, I ****ing have EYES. I know better, PFF. But hey, I think "well maybe I'm missing something in their grading..."

Thuney gave up 6 pressures and a sack by their own grading system. Taylor? 2 pressures, zero sacks.

And graded worse than Thuney.

I mean **** me, why do they even bother? They clearly just made shit up for that grade. It makes zero sense. In theory a 60+ grade is adequate. Not good, but pretty much a fringe starting caliber performance. That most assuredly is not what we got at LT on Sunday.

I mean you say Thuney was as bad as Kingsley and honestly, you might be doing a disservice to Kingsley. I'm re-watching this as well and am just FLOORED by how bad Thuney was.

I have no ****ing clue what a 'Jalyx Hunt' is, but I saw him simply run straight through Thuney's chest like the guy wasn't even there. I mean its play after play after play.

As bad as it seemed in real-time, it's worse on rewatch. He embarrassed himself. I don't know that I've ever seen a guy look that overmatched that routinely.

Wow. Just...wow.

That Seattle/NE SB might have been the most bothered I've been after a SB game ever and that includes our losses. I was rattled.

Yeah, I think the Dee Ford game hurt a lot more than yesterday's game. Getting your ass kicked is easier to take than a super close ballgame getting decided by a very stupid mistake like Seattle on the goal line or Dee Ford offsides.

Oh I know he got hit.

I'm saying that when he's right, that still doesn't happen. He slides a bit into that wide open space in front of him or he 'folds' with the contact enough to keep that sort of complete misfire from happening.

It was indicative of how out of sorts he was. That's just not something we seem him do in situations where he's taking far more contact in far more of a maelstrom than that.

Yes, Thuney got obliterated. Truly shocking considering he was just fine in every game before then. It's really not a mystery why Mahomes was as rattled as he was, he could feel that happening on nearly every dropback.

Trade Mahomes for Howie Roseman?

Kidding duh but damn this Eagles team is set up for a while. Super talented young players and a plathora of guys right smack dab in the middle of their prime.

I was at the Dee Ford game. Mahomes deserved that win, but he doesn't have that Brady luck going for him.

I put on the All 22 and shut it off shortly into the 2nd quarter.

There are no words for how bad Thuney played.

Yeah -- I'm sure that's a team that's going to handle success REALLY well.

I ain't worried about Philly. Sirianni will absolutely have them all sorts of ****ed up in the next 2 seasons.

Jalen Daniels is gonna be a problem for that team to deal with in division. Let's see how they deal with being the hunted next year. Amazing talent, but there's a reason why almost nobody goes back-to-back in this league.

The last time Eagles were a super team and had their OC become a head coach they didn't look so hot the following year.

Only thing I can come up with on Thuney & Caliendo...a lot of their games together were on natural grass before this one. Last night was fake turf, which maybe provided better footing for the pass rushers? The natural grass might have slowed them down in earlier games like the Steelers, Texans, & Bills.

Yeah I’d much rather get blown out.

I was devastated after the Patriots AFCCG

I was enraged and stunned after the Bengals AFCCG loss.

Both Super Bowl losses I was pretty much over it by halftime. What can you really get emotional about if you’re just straight up getting worked over by a better team?

I’m already on to next season. If we had lost a heartbreaker I’d probably feel terrible right now.
