This might not be a popular discussion point, but Mahomes' cap number the next 3 years is $66 million, $68 million, and $65 million. That number is going to make it a lot harder to build around him. Jalen Hurts doesn't even surpass $50 million until 2029. Yes Mahomes has had the superior accolades and accomplishments but it's a statement of fact, Hurts' contract makes it far easier to keep a team around him than Mahomes' contract right now.

Brady is not even half the quarterback Mahomes was and anybody who watched them (and is being honest about what they watched) knows that.

Mahomes doesn’t have to “pass” anybody. He’s the best quarterback to ever play the position and that doesn’t change because his offensive line got their shit kicked in another SB.

There is way more important stuff going on in the Mahomes family right now considering the hospice situation with his grandfather. Really puts into perspective how silly the sports world is. Just my two cents.
