Win this Super Bowl, and he’s second only to Brady if he retires the next day.

No other resume is even all that close.

17 total TD’s
1 INT
3 total turnovers

That’s his stats in this threepeat 9 game stretch.

He’s him

It's not an overreaction at this point to consider him better than Montana.

It's just him and Brady at this point.

And if you're looking at just his prime years, just like you said, no one is even close.

Yeah, I just like to be safe. I’m a Chiefs Homer but I’m sure there are still pockets out there who’d argue Montana (rings and longevity) or even Peyton (peak).

Peyton was a regular season merchant.

Obviously he’s an all time great, but I’m sorry, it’s silly to me to argue guys like him and Lamar who would just blatantly stat pad in the regular season against shitty teams and then routinely poop their pants in the playoffs against real competition are better than someone like Mahomes.

Does anyone really think that if Mahomes was hell bent on doing it he couldn’t go back to putting up gaudy stats in the regular season? Of course he could. He’s clearly made a conscious choice to conserve himself mentally and physically for the postseason and not peak too soon.

It’s him and Brady, and I’d still listen to an argument for Montana. But if he wins in two weeks I think the Montana argument is gone and it’s just him and Tom.

The Montana people have "he never threw an INT in the SB" they really hold onto that.

I've been telling you that, now you believe me?

Regular season games have effectively been practice for him and this organization for the last two years at a minimum.

Peyton Manning is like a combination of Lamar Jackson & Trent Dilfer. Obviously you have the amazing MVP stuff in the regular season, but a lot of choking in the Playoffs from both Lamar & Peyton. It remains to be seen if Lamar can ever win a ring.

Both of Peyton's championship rings featured a very poor level of play from him, game manager at best in the Playoffs. Similar to Trent Dilfer! Passer rating around 70/158 in both of those Playoff runs for Peyton. Somehow the Colts won a ring with Peyton throwing 3 TD and 7 INT during the Playoff run, which is hard to believe.

The funny thing is Lamar absolutely had two defenses good enough to carry him to "Dilfer style" championships in 2019 and 2023. But Lamar choked so badly it undermined the whole deal.

Montana was awesome in the Super Bowls, but also won Playoff games where he sucked. Won a conference title game with like 5+ turnovers. Similar to what we've seen with Brady at times.

Really?

Who the **** said that?

I thought last night was his best game this year.

He's locked into playoff mode and he just looks unstoppable right now.

Well he did have the fumble that cost KC 3-7 points, and a sack that cost them 3 points.

But nobody is perfect. Tom Brady & Joe Montana won a lot of Playoff games where they made big mistakes. Brady won a conference title against MVP Aaron Rodgers where Brady had 3 interceptions. Somehow MVP Rodgers was not able to take advantage of this in his home stadium, which was absurd.

That does not equal "playing like shit". Focusing on a few bad plays and melting down in a game in the first half no less is childish ignorant stupid twat behavior.

And it was going on in full force in the chat.

Reerun literally ruins the chat thread with his BS every week. Its at the point I ignore chat now other than here and there during the game.

Why even watch the games if all you are going to do is bitch the whole ****ing time? About a team going to its 3rd straight Super Bowl no less. Do you NEVER learn?
