That's an interesting list. Allen gonna be way ahead of some GOAT level players when it's all said and done. Mahomes is unbelievable...and still underrated.

Fortunately for him, he has the national media to carry the torch for him. Same thing with Lamar, Burrow, and whoever else. Mahomes could win 10 Super Bowls to 0 for the others and the media will still find a way to downplay him compared to the others.

Nah I saw Gretzky and while he was ridiculous there have been others at least close to his level (prime Lemieux for one)

Because sports talk shows would be pretty boring if every show they went on and said, “What can we say, this guy is clearly the best and there’s no debate.”

I feel bad for a lot of those guys because it is really hard to do their jobs and create a debate when Mahomes is so clearly the best. They have to find a way to make it look closer than it is to create compelling television and that can’t be easy.

Easiest job in the world. Getting paid money to spout a bunch of total bullshit about meaningless sports. Nothing productive about that industry, but they still get paid really nice money for doing it.
