When we ran two straight times with the most basic plays towards the end of the first half that’s when I knew they had run out of any semblance of good ideas and the game was a lost cause. It was an abysmal series when we could have still gotten back in the game.

This one just reinforces the thought in my head that the era/phase of “complimentary” offense needs to get the **** outta here….its been 2 years of this….no more.

It’s time to put together an offense that actually strikes fear into opposing defenses’ and can go out and be a dominant force…

Maybe I’m being hyperbolic but I’m just over it…everything from scheme to philosophy to personnel needs an enema the size of Little Man….

We all know what Mahomes is capable of.

But maybe now we can be honest in admitting that his play has slipped the last couple seasons.

Am I discouraged? No.

In fact I’m excited.

It’s easy after a title to be complacent and not want to change things. Failure drives improvement.

I’m hopeful this will cause Pat to dive headfirst into the lab with his coaches and trainers this offseason and figure out how to get back to the MVPat we all know is in there somewhere.

I’m expecting a big year next year.

Give him a better Left Tackle...but it probably won't happen. They'll continue to Band-Aid it with a rotating cast of scrubs and he'll have to just find a way to win ugly.
