All Things Video Games/Game Reviews Part II

Hey all, you know the deal...
The other thread hit over 1,000 posts and we have server issues when that shit happens so here she be, a fancy new mega thread.

Anyway, just a quick rundown.

Post anything and everything gaming in here. Console games, handheld/mobile games or PC.

Playing something you love or maybe hate? Find a hidden gem on Steam? Let us know via a review. Try to make sure you give a good rundown on it. Graphics, sound, storyline, overall gameplay and replayability. Let's keep it at a 1-10 scale.

Thanks to all that left me awesome rep comments/posts and even pm's thanking me for the many reviews I wrote.
Just an FYI, developers do read our comments in here I guess. CD Projekt Red (of Witcher 3) was one that stopped by.

Anyway, thanks all for your input and as always, no griefing.

Being made by some former Mass Effect Devs, looks promising.

Go to the top left and pick Northern Realms. Get these cards as soon as you can.

Blue Stripes Commando.
Both Catapults.
All Three Crimson Reavers.

Also get all the decoys you can find.

That'll make you pretty damn strong regardless of who you're playing against.

Let that ass **** use his spies early and either decoy them or medic them from your discard pile to make sure he never gets that large of an advantage and try to break up your heaviest hitting stuff between rounds so it doesn't all get scorched at once.
Great call here. I was able to find three decoy cards early on and those were game changers.

i havent been disappointed by any BL game. I find it odd how much fanboys blow up the comments though based on one thing only (vault hunter design).

WHo gives a crap when it's a first-person perspective anyways?

As long as it's fun, i'm in.

Don't forget to bump the useless cards out of your deck as well.

It's times like now when I love my PS Portal. I don't have anything pressing at work but I need to monitor email and chat in case something comes up. So I'm sitting in my office playing games on the Portal while I wait.

Yep, that’s the first thing I do when I acquire a new card.

Funny enough, though, I have stuck with the Northern Realms deck the whole time and that’s worked out well. I entered that Gwent tournament and actually won the whole thing. Up until yesterday I hadn’t lost a single match since the Bloody Baron (and I have been playing a LOT of Gwent).

.. and then I found this random blacksmith in Skellige with a raw deck. He has my card. Literally a Geralt of Rivia card (Roach too) lol I’m like “How tf you get this, buddy? I don’t even have this!” Anyway, he beat me twice in a row before I finally took him down. Thought that was funny.

Oh yeah, Northern Realms is by far the most straightforward deck to use. Scoiatel and Monster are both completely worthless and Nilfgaard needs to be played a certain way to be more effective than Northern Realms. Same as the 5th deck from Blood and Wine.

Hopefully this doesn't disappoint like the last Mass Effect game. I guess Drew Karpyshyn is writing the story or parts of it. Famous for Mass Effect 1,2 and Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic.

I get that Andromeda was a lot different from the previous entries and for that reason, I don't think it got a fair shot from the community.

I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Still the story doesn't compare to ME1 or ME2, but it was decent.

For me it was the gameplay. Gunplay was best in ME2 and ME 3. But playing a biotic or tech/biotic hybrid was a lot more fun than in the trilogy, at least for me. It's felt like you had so many more options because of the open skill trees.

OH I get that but I also thought the locations/level designs and maps weren't as good. I did play ME Andromeda multiplayer which was kind of fun but meh the maps were no where near as good. If you weren't that interested in Story but gameplay Outriders had some fun stolen Mass Effect skills like Biotic Charge.

Yeah, Andromeda didn't need to be open world. The level designs in ME2/3 were perfect.
