Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

That Ravens fan needs to alter his statement to "I'll never wrap my head around why the Ravens didn't run the ball against the Chiefs in the AFCCG".

I am normally not a fan of spending high picks on off-ball linebackers but having Chenal and Bolton is really nice if we draw Ravens in the Championship game.

And so crucial in building that early lead and causing the Ravens to abandon the run

I think the Chiefs have known all along their run defense was going to be the key this year. That's why Spags put such an emphasis on it in camp and hit the ground running with it from Week 1. Why Pennell stayed on the roster all year.

Have to stop Buffalo's running game, too. They ran all over us last year.

There's not much you can do about Lamar. He's gonna run it against us this year if he gets the chance.

He always gets yards. Key is stopping Henry and not giving up TDs.

True. You basically have to have perfect pash rush integrity to keep him in the pocket. And even then, he's just too quick when you're rushing with DLineman.

Just take a two-score lead vs. the Ravens in a playoff game and it's basically game over. But everyone except Nick Wright has to pretend like it's not.

Key to stopping both them and Bills. Take away their running game, and make those quarterbacks play the position from the pocket and they can’t do it consistently. Take away our running game, and Patrick will dissect you.

These matchups are where I miss Willie Gay the most.

Gotta hope Tranquil is up for playing that kind of spy role and lay the wood early if Allen and Lamar try to take over the game with their legs.

I don't really trust Tranquil in that spot. Can Chenal not fill that role?
