*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I know it might seem silly to bring up a talking head since most of them have nothing of value to say, but Brou is one of the few that I actually respect.

But it seems like Brou has selective memory, Jordan didn't win championships with "The Light Show", he won championships when he was surrounded by great teams and a great coach. Jordan recognized that, and I'm sure Mahomes recognizes that, too. I wonder why so many other people don't seem to recognize that.
Those bulls team played great D too including Jordan.

Comparing Basketball and Football is a joke. Football is way more of a team game. Mahomes can't throw and catch the ball himself.

This would be like asking Jordan to average 20 assist a game.

I was trying to point it Jordan wasn’t just all flash he did the gritty stuff too , in reference to media wanting a light show every week

8 points I think is considered a 1 possession game.

That stat is tracked according to one-score games that they play in, that they also win.

Until they lose a game by one score, the streak goes on.

The Chiefs beat that Browns by almost double eight points, though.

Wait, what? I thought it was just wins overall, and whether they were one score or more.

Your definition is less dramatic, and I don't enjoy it as much. It's like when they talk about a receiver having catches in XX straight games, but they exclude games that the guy missed with injuries.

*shrug*

It is still impressive. If they get in a one-score game, they win it. You can't give them an opening, is what it means. Championship DNA.

The great racehorse knows when it's time to go!

Oh, yeah, don't get me wrong. It is indeed impressive, and I'm glad the Chiefs have done this. It just seems like a selective stat.

Maybe I'm just blinded since I'm really looking forward to the "Three Straight Super Bowl Wins" record.
