So when do people stop going out to eat?

I have a customer who owns 5 Mexican Food Cafes here in the Phoenix area. The past few years we've reprinted their menus 6 times...always to accommodate higher prices. Their typical cost now is about $18.00 per entree...Mexican food.

On a personal note I stopped by a McDonald's today and paid $4.96 for a large order of fries. There's got to be a breaking point for most folks.

If true, I cannot fathom spending what you do on just food for a month just for yourself. That's straight up insane to me. I mean, how do you not cook any meals at home? That's just incomprehensible. And I eat very well, almost no frozen processed crap.

Regardless, it's pretty baffling seeing the difference in diet habits in this thread.

If you were smart, which you are not, you would know that there are three body types; Endomorphs, Ectomorphs and Mesomorphs.

Those body types play a HUGE role in how you process food and how your body reacts over your life. While you can't abuse food to an obscene amount, some people have great genetics. Swimmer physiques have trouble gaining weight no matter what they eat. They are know as Ectomorphs.

I am built like a Cavemen, an Endomorph. Short, squat and low to the ground.

Why not call a decent restaurant place and buy a steak, meatloaf, grilled fish, or roasted chicken?

You can buy bags of Birdseye Steam Fresh veggies and in 3 minutes have a super healthy side dish. Add some Sesame oil, very little soy, some ginger powder, some chili oil and it tastes Asian. Or add lime juice, Cilantro, and extra virgin olive oil and it tastes Mexican.

Your daily salt consumption is a big No-No

I've pretty much lived an entire life eating junk processed food. My current diet is about a 60-40 ratio of junk food to home cooking (even my home cooking is kinda junky).

I currently weigh about 15lbs more than i did in HS (at age 38) and fall in the Normal/Healthy weight range for my height.

BUT, i also stay pretty active on the weekends with recreational sports and often workout 3-4 days a week during the spring and summer.

I buy lunch for my crew every Friday. 2 years ago the average cost was a bit over $400.00.
Last year it was $700.00 with the same number of mouths.
Year to date it is averaging right at $800.00.
Inflation is transitory, or so I heard.

Threre's a brand new Safeway near me. Beautiful store. Clean and nice and more market style than big box grocers so the deli/salad bar area is top notch.

My only complaint is that they usually only have 1 register going with the rest being self checkout. I'm a self checkout fan but there's a **** ton of old people down here in the winter and watching peepaw trying to scan in a watermelon makes running in for 1 or 2 things a little more difficult than it should be.

I hate breakfast too and especially hate eggs.

I'll have an English muffin occasionally, maybe a Post Great Grains Banana Nut Crunch cereal or a rare BLT sandwich but the ONLY time I like breakfast is when I go on vacation.

Then the breakfast buffet at the hotel is good and I can relax. Pancakes with Banana and Walnuts inside are my go to with a side of sausage links, extra crispy hash browns, plate of tropical fruit, decaf coffee and freshly squeezed OJ.
