Trailer premiered at gamescom a few minutes ago, seems like a good time for its own thread.

I had to backtrack about an hour, I missed one of the items for the supplier deed. So when I'm home from work tonight I have to redo Act of Mercy.

What fight on top of Sundermount? The shades and shadow warrior or is there something else?

I discovered after the quest in the slaver cavern, if you send the boy to the dalish, if you go talk to him in the dalish camp you get a bit of gold from the keeper. And also if you head back towards the cave entrance, instead of exiting immediately, some spiders spawn for another 100 xp or so (tough fight, I didn't have aveline, so it was myself, Merril, Anders and Varric versus 6 spiders).

And I finally got some nice loot, during my first trip through Act of Mercy. Two staves, one of which has +21% healing, which I gave Anders immediately. Plus it looks pretty awesome.

They were quest rewards, so I assume I'll get them again. Although you know what they say about assuming.

The thing about the deep roads is it never seems to end. Map after map after map, and they all look exactly the same. Somehow I knew it was going to suck, because my very first play through the game I put it off to last. And, boy oh boy, suck it did.

The deep roads part is nowhere near as extensive as it was in the first game.

Make sure you do the clearing of the gangs in the night areas of Kirkwall ..."Night Lies" is only one of them. You have to wander around Hightown at night and these Guardsmen Pretenders spawn. Apparently you can do this in all the acts.

Thanks for the reminder. I've done Sharp Little Pinpricks and Pier Pressure, but forgot all about the Guardsmen Pretenders in Hightown.

They haven't appeared the last few times I've been in Hightown at night. Guess I have to be persistent.

I had to leave and come back. They appear in different places, you won't find them in the same place.

Holy cow, the standard attack animations on spirit-damage staffs are freaking awesome. It's like a big glowing fist.

Sigh. 25 hours in. Still on Act 1.

All I have left is the Redwater Raiders "Pier Pressure" quest, and then the deep roads expedition. THANK THE MAKER!

I'm in the Deep Roads. It looks so much better than it did in Origins.

I think I did every quest, I'm right around 40 hours now, about a quarter of the way into level 12.

I literally had 28 silver left after giving the dwarf 50 gold.

Yeah, i'm going to have to sell some stuff to get to 50 gold. Apparently there is a quest available if you have done everything and don't have enough gold, but you have to repay it or something.
