After reading pawnmower's post last week I chickened out on buying bitcoin. Missed the 20% run up. Oh well. I'm sure it will tank soon and I can pull the trigger then...

Been looking into it. Ripple CEO is from Topeka and a KU grad..... Lots of Silicon Valley experience. The problem with Ripple is that there is a lot of outstanding Ripple that hasn't been released yet, however, I think long term, Ripple might be the cryptocurrency of choice as there is a lot of institutional buy-in (especially Asia) in their system.

Holding heavy LTC at the moment. Also took part in FYN initial offering - excited for that platform and team to do some work in this space. Still have a bit of ETH to play around with. It's been very interesting seeing how this technology develops. Hell, our very own Teedubya has an emerging podcast on the subject, The Bad Crypto Podcast. Check it out, ya'll.

just dont be dumb like me and hold it in an exchange...that was my main point. Keep it in a paper wallet is #1 best security, or at the very least in some form of personal wallet...that was the entire reason for me making the post was to warn others about leaving their coin in exchanges...;learn from MY mistake lol! Just don't keep it on an exchange . As a secondary note, I am distrustful of russian exchanges now after having been burned by 2 of them (sort of)....In any case my apologies if I gave the impression I am down on coins at all....I am not...! As a matter of fact if I had simply kept and held all my coins I would be up 200-300 or more % since 2011 or so ..maybe more.
