Lamar shits the bed every single postseason. He isnt even in the same stratosphere as Allen and Burrow until he shows he doesn't turn into a pumpkin in the postseason

Not saying he can't better but he came out with far less polish than those guys.

That's what I said, isn't it? He has the physical tools, but we'll have to wait and see how/if he develops. If he does develop into a solid possession receiver, and he doesn't have to become the next Tee Higgins or whatever, he's going to become a problem to cover, especially in the RZ.

Again, I liked him as a prospect but thought he was too raw to spend a high pick on for where we were.

Ah, well that's slightly different as well. I wasn't actually thinking about Coleman in terms of whether we should've taken him instead of Worthy. Tbh, I never thought about that at all even before the draft. I would agree that Coleman seemed too raw to take before Worthy. I just thought it was a decent pick for BUF, because of his obvious physical traits. They play in northern NY, and it gets pretty windy there, so a big physical target made a lot of sense. Especially in the playoffs, when speed isn't as big of an asset, come Dec/Jan.

Joe Burrow is good, but his legacy is ridiculously inflated by a playoff run to the Super Bowl during which he did almost nothing.

If Patrick Mahomes hadn’t completely forgotten how to play football in the second half of that first AFCCG, then no one is putting Burrow anywhere near the top of these discussions.

It’s weird to me that he’s not accepted as the clear #2 to Mahomes (guys like Lamar and Burrow are still suggested) but I think his greatness would be far more obvious to most fans if the Chiefs didn’t own his team in the playoffs his entire career (and that ownership has almost next to nothing to do with his own performance in the playoffs). If/when the Chiefs inevitably have a down period again, Josh Allen is probably going to be the biggest beneficiary.

Allen is genuinely about the only QB who has willed his team to victories against KC. He’s gotten better each year and should have won MVP last year.

I think Hunt is also wearing down. When Pacheco comes back he can spell Hunt. Use Hunt for short yardage and have Pacheco be the bell cow.

This is true.

The Chiefs longest run from a RB this season is 17 yards.

Their longest run overall is a 33 yard scramble by Mahomes.

I think we deliberately limited his carries this week (for some reason). Maybe we were trying to "surprise" the Bills with a pass-heavy game to break trend, hence the focus on Worthy?

I'd like to limit his carries again this week against the Panthers to keep him fresh for the home stretch.

Denver and LAC are seemingly better than we thought they'd be at the beginning of the season, so we have 4 games against playoff-ish teams remaining:

Denver
LAC
Pittsburgh
Houston

We could really use the BYE, so slipping in that stretch would not be ideal. A healthy Hunt is critical.
