Guys, what do you do offensively when a team runs two deep safeties almost exclusively?

You RUN THE BALL. You RUN THE ****ING BALL.

That's what you do. That's always been the answer.

That opens passing lanes up.

There's nothing groundbreakingly awesome about Fangio's defensive scheme. It forces you to beat it by doing what you'd rather not do.

We gave up 40 but I don’t blame this defense at all.

We did a great job on Barkley. Hurts played a great game and put some balls right on the money.

This loss was 100% on the offense.

Except it’s impossible to run the ball when you have an offensive line that gets dominated at the line of scrimmage and JAG RB’s.

You had an undrafted scrub at LG and your all pro LG at LT.

Bad idea.

Media hate and other teams coaches and players was disgusting. NFL got what they wanted. No 3peat.

Very much so. Something he needs to improve upon as he ages.

Can’t blame Pat. No quarterback in history is going to play well under those circumstances.
Wrong. You can and you should.

Pat was under every bit as much pressure vs. the Texans and he got rid of the football. Quickly. The fastest of his entire career.

THAT is what a good QB does. When your line fails get rid of the football. If you don't that is 100% on you. Any mistake that was made is 100% on you.

Eat the sack if you have to. Throw it away and punt if you have to. NEVER throw a pick six and NEVER eyeball a WR for 4 seconds and toss an INT.

Pat played like a rookie staring down WR's and holding onto the football. His day was shit. I don't understand it - it doesn't make sense. It is what it is though.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

At least you're not giving up sacks when you run the ball. And you keep the defense honest.

The Chiefs have wanted Mahomes to play more in the pocket. He’s done that. It’s made him easier to defend. Let him play his game —it is what has made him great. More designed roll outs and opportunity for play making is the best way for Mahomes to pressure the defense.

Well, again, for the 50th time, when you move your all-pro LG to LT and play a undrafted scrub at LG against a stout DL, you're going to struggle mightily.

I said it three games ago, when everyone was all keen on keeping Thuney at LT.

It was a HUGE risk.

Humphries must really suck.

Great point. As much as I want to blame the pass protection and Mahomes, we never committed to running the ball at any point.

I think the o line should all line up and take 100 spirals into the balls from Pat. He needs to work out his anger on someone.

14 points were directly from the offense. The pick six and the pick inside the 10 yard line. That’s 26 with out those

That's what everyone said about LB'ers and WR's.

I wouldn't bet against him to get it right.
