OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I wonder if it's fatigue. It feels like the dog days right now just trying to drag our ass to December. Getting the bye with some cushion would be huge.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I would forfeit the undefeated season just to bench some guys and let them rest.

Hell, the 3 games in 10 days bullshit? Maybe send the 2nd string out there for one of those games just to survive it.

He's def had more bad games this year than great ones.
That’s a problem then because they signed Brown and drafted Worthy specifically for the deep ball.

Honestly they have only three games left that they need to win to get the bye, Buffalo, Houston, and the LAC.

What the **** is this nonsense about Pat asking the refs to tell him if he’s about to get hit? Seems to be all over the place right now.

He asked to tell him when hes close. Which apparently was reference to Taylor not Mahomes

I'm waiting for the short yardage play where they sub in Wentz and everyone thinks it's for the sneak, but Worthy leaks out about 5 yards and BOOM!

I do really want to know what this was about. The thing that makes the most sense is obviously asking to warn him if OL are off. My guess is that Payton was in their ear and the refs chose to call it without alerting reid or mahomes. They don’t have to but it’s common courtesy. But his wording is a little strange for that.

I also feel like he could be joking. You can see the broncos staff laughing which makes me feel like maybe he’s hamming it up. His tone didn’t sound pissed and way too casual.

I’m guessing he will clear it up with the media today. Because I’m confident there is no way he’d ask refs to tell him when he’s going to get hit. That’s just absurd.

They doubled Chase most of the day, but Sutton is not worth doubling
