Why we didn't employ a quicker developing set of routes like we did vs the Texans I don't know.
Fangio covered the quick routes. The coverage you saw on the pass breakup on 4th down (the attempt to DHop) were the type of coverages Fangio was deploying all game.

If we were going to beat them, we had to do it deep, and most of the time in the first half we just didn’t have the time to let those routes develop.

Real bad game for Patrick. But I don’t think you can see the pressures being allowed throughout the first half and say it was all on him today.
He absolutely did. This game was 10-0 before his two awful interceptions. Without those we'd have had a punchers chance at the end.

Nonsense.

He's the best QB to ever play but he had a shit day. Horrible decision making, held the ball far too long. He repeatedly took sacks stepping up into the pocket trying to scramble instead of just throwing it away.

If the rush is coming, if the WR isn't open, THROW THE FOOTBALL AWAY.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

If it’s Pat’s fault, it is the game plan’s fault. We didn’t go more than 15 yards downfield before the game was decided. Then, when the defense is most focused on the deep ball, it is very effective. I think the offensive game plan was too timid for who Pat is.

I would completely agree.

To what extent we'll never truly know but yeah, I'd agree.

The first INT was the worst INT I’ve seen Patrick throw in years.

The second Thuney was backed into Patrick. I have a hard time putting that all on him. The alternative there was a safety, right?

It's a game man. I don't what to tell you. You've gotten to enjoy 3 superbowl wins and 5 appearances in 6 years. Incredible. There is no 3 peat chance without the last 2. This was a fun run.

Now, you're being melodramatic, Patrick hardly had anytime to pass and Kelce and company decided they couldn't catch at critical moments

Andy Reid is a genius but I wonder how much he left in the tank.

He delegates to Nagy most of the regular season.

Honestly, we might be a year or two away from offering Andy CEO of Chiefs and hiring a younger coach to take us through the next 5-7 years. Andy can still have input and hang out but he can relax more and just be the genius schemer, idea guy.

Real bad game for Patrick. But I don’t think you can see the pressures being allowed throughout the first half and say it was all on him today.
He made some bad throws under pressure that were very uncharacteristic, but no other QB in the league is winning that game with a line getting worked that badly in the first half.
