It does always work. The downside, obviously, is that it gets your defense tired but when you keep going three and out anyway I'm not sure it matters.

That would be like me rooting on Dungver (because the raiders won't ever make it) in the Superbowl.

I’m looking forward to watching Rice and Worthy together next year. Add one more WR threat and that’ll be fun. The OL…man, the pressure they got without blitzing was sad. I don’t know how you scheme around that without a more prolific running game. Mahomes was bad, but his OL tonight was as bad as I have ever seen. That has to be priority 1 in the offseason. It HAS TO get fixed

Yeah, he's too good to look THAT bad and rattled, and they never really adjusted at all with slowing down the rush.

Phillys front 4 manhandled the Chiefs OL all night.
Zero adjustments from Reid/Nagy until it was too late.
Lots of blame to go around including Mahomes

This isn't brain surgery - play like a top 10 QB and throw the football away.
That’s called grounding and a penalty and a safety when in the endzone.

Throw quicker passes. RB screens. QB draws. Slants.

We only saw one tush push in this game. I suppose that's a positive.

I realize how hard it is and I also realize that there is a huge huge upside when you're able to draft one given the premium you pay at the position and being able to spend those $$ somewhere else, but this experiment failed miserably tonight. You're either going to pay to get one or you're going to waste the full potential of Mahomes. Not my rules.

Pat had more time to throw today than he did vs the Texans.

He chose to take sacks. His decision to throw picks. His choice not to throw the football away and live to fight another down.

Why we didn't employ a quicker developing set of routes like we did vs the Texans I don't know.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I don’t think Patrick lost us the game, he certainly didn’t win it, but Vic Fangio took away the short game from us and Patrick was getting demolished in the first. He shit himself in the second, but I don’t think you go down 0-24 in the first without a complete offensive pants shitting. If DHop catches the ball that hits him in the hands or Joe Thuney doesn’t get Mike Remmered into Patrick in the endzone, we’re potentially looking at points going into halftime.

Real bad game for Patrick. But I don’t think you can see the pressures being allowed throughout the first half and say it was all on him today.

The first play was that toss to brown up the seem (it was brown wasn't it). I don't remember if it was a true rpo but it looked like how we started the bills game...then it vanished just like the bills game.
