I won’t like it if it’s 20 million plus but it is likely Taylor and Thuney gone soon.

So that’s probably a huge factor here in their cap calculations.

Let's pretend Thuney, like most guys on the interior OL these days, has indicated to the team he doesn't plan to play much longer. This will be year 10 for him. He's won four Super Bowls, made his money, he's super sharp mentally. Why would he play much longer?

Well then you're looking at losing him, Smith, and Taylor by 2026 and you haven't solved LT yet.

It's a very real possibility that could be playing a role in the effort to keep Trey.

The cap is more than fine dude. They’re gonna have plenty of money, especially after they clear some of the higher paid contracts off the books this time next year.

They can extend McDuffie to a big deal and still have money. We are by no means cap strapped.

Don’t want to pay Trey? I get it. But the Chiefs have the money to pay multiple big contracts.

Rams have given Jonah Jackson permission to seek a trade.

I don't think they'll find a buyer prior to his roster bonus triggering, but afterwards they could probably get him moved and the acquiring team would end up on the hook for about $8 million.

Only relevant in the context of what it would mean for LAR's ability to retain Alaric Jackson.
