Humphries still gave up far less pressure than Thuney. And he's only going to get better.

The goal should be Humphries starting next to Thuney by the playoffs.

We need to dust off the ol’ Alex Smith playbook for this one. Get the ball out of the QB’s hands in 3 seconds or less. Play strong defense, try to force some turnovers, and win this one 20-17 kind of deal.

Technically they are still playing for the 2 seed. That does matter as it comes with minimum 2 home games if you keep winning. They are 2 games back from Buffalo and have the head-to-head tie-breaker.

It's a crazy long shot since Buffalo is just playing tomato cans next 3 weeks, but I don't think NFL teams see it that way.
