****Our Wide Receivers Suck- Official Thread****

They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Yeah, I suppose he's overpaid relative to the others. I wish he was targeted more because he's the most proven WR on this roster. I'll have to watch the game tape to see if he just wasn't getting open yesterday in the second half.

If there is, I hope they included the one of Noah Gray shying away from contact when he was targeted down the field. You're at TE, good god man. Go get it.

**** both of those two. They have a lot of work to do to make up for last night's debacle.
Moore doesn't have shit hands. His hands and ability to make difficult catches are actually something he's known for. Go back and watch the 4th and 25 play. Watson jumped for the ball and obstructed Moore's view and I'm not quite sure he didn't get a hand on the ball that changed the directory.

All his speed he just can't get open like you would expect. Look at his career, he has played with 2 HOF QB's and the statistics are near identical. His ceiling has been reached. He is not a WR1, he is a 3rd option with speed. A very very well paid one at that.

Agreed. It’s great to get there. But he doesn’t have that kind of production without kelce given how much of his production was scheme driven.. That’s why I feel we need to push sooner vs later for that. I think juju in yesterdays game helps us win the game while at the same time exposing some of our WR limitations.

To me and it might be more of a product of how late Kelce's injury happened and a possibility he was going to play but it seemed like they pretty well kept the same game plan just with Noah Gray.

I would guess if they believe Kelce going to miss next week there would be more changes and adjustments. But bottom line we need several wr to step up.

Toney had a TERRIBLE night - but I'm not worried about him in the least. Shit happens, move on. He'll be fine.

Skyy Moore is a ****ing problem. Hated that pick when it was made, and he's not shown me a single thing in 21 games to change my mind.

I'd like to see Rice get more snaps.

MVS and Watson were fine as usual.

If speed was all that mattered at WR, the Raiders would have more success the last 20 years.

Yeah, I don't think anyone should be concerned about Toney's potential. He laid an egg last night, but he clearly can be a difference maker in the NFL, it's just a matter of health and consistency. He has the capability. It seems questionable if Moore has the capability. He looks like a downgrade from Hardman to this point.

There is two ways you can look at our WR room.

1) it is deep
2) it is deep with average players

MVS - WR2 or 3 on most top teams
Toney - WR2 or 3 on most top teams
James - WR3 or 4 on probably all NFL teams
Moore - WR4 on most teams
Watson - WR4 on most teams but somehow looks like our WR1
Rice - Rookie, hard to tell but not a WR1 or 2 yet
Ross - Rookie, hard to tell but not a WR1 or 2 yet

whilst its good having a deep WR room, you can only have 3 of them on the field at the same time, so in essence, we have an average at best WR group

That's being kind. I don't think these guys can properly take a piss unless Kelce is there to shake their dicks for them afterwards.
