This. part of me wants him to keep offing people who deserve to be offed. odd, I know, but maybe all of us love a vigilante from time to time.

So, unless someone can suggest another non-cop, who gives a good storyline dealing with the turmoil of whether or not to turn him in, I'm not sure I can stand by my statement. (I don't think Deb would be believable at this point.)

well Quin already knows Dexter killed Robocop so...
Quin knows something is up with ol' Dexy... and you know what bothered me a bit... the fact that Dexter helped Quin out with that blood work...I mean...that much was given... but how does that suddenly exonerate Quin? He was most likely at the scene, Robocop's last 5 calls were all to Quin...and as soon as LaGuerta questioned him he demanded a lawyer... uh... what? too many loopholes this season...WAAAAY too many |

He exonerated Quinn because a guilty Quinn who has photos of him dumping bags offshore suddenly has much more of an impetus to call the validity of the spatter guy into question, as well as raising all number of other questions about Kyle Butler, putting way too much focus on a guy who is supposed to be working in the shadows.
And what Quinn did was absolutely right. He knew that he looked ****ed due to circumstantial evidence, and he had opportunity, given his presence at the scene. If they could establish a motive (as the blood would have done), he would have been ****ed. In effect, Dexter did it to pay him off.

Duh. That's what I was trying to say... but what I meant WAS...just because it wasn't Liddy's blood on Quinn's shoe doesn't mean shit... All of Liddy's last calls before getting killed were to Quinn... I'm not sure how he got off the hook so easily just because the blood on his shoes wasn't a match...makes no sense to me. Now if they decided there wasn't enough evidence I guess that's one thing...but again...too many loopholes in this damn season. |

Everything else would be circumstantial.

They need to have Dexter get Fred Phelps on his table. That would be a sweet episode.

and also...
how did Deb "solve" the barrel girls case? she let the vigilantes go...no one ever found a body (other than Dan the Dentist)... the only thing she solved was where the rapes occurred...she didn't solve anything else... so what was up with the cheers to Deb for solving the case at the end of the episode as well? I didn't get that either. |
