50 Beers to Try Before You Die
Thought the beer snobs here might like this article (and probably critique the hell out of it).
http://www.wisdeo.com/articles/view_post/2984 (CBS) You've heard of "100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall"? How about 50 to try before you die?!
Spoiler!

Grilled chicken that's has some herb treatment happen to it - rosemary and tarragon and thyme in the marinade or rub - would go great with Cali-Beglique. The Belgian yeast phenols would pick up those herbs and make sweet love with them.

Just finished my sixer of Fort Collins Brewery chocolate stout. Very average, but did the trick.

Relative to the style (light lager), Coors Light is sorta' impressive.

Since I couldn't watch the game and already got my laugh from the Leinart/Cassel threads, I figured I would post here.
So had Saison Du Pont for the first time. Very good. I prefer the mouthfeel from Tank 7 but the Du Pont was fantastic. Also, came across Stone's Emperial IPA. Very nice. Reminds me more of typical pale ales than the Imperial/double/American IPA's. That's probably due to fact that they made this beer based upon the original IPA's and gave it their own twist. Whilst, I was at central market purchasing my coffee, I also picked up an Avery/Russian River combo called "Collaboration not Litigation". I'm looking forward to this one. |

Been slacking on the beer front but hoping to pick that up.
Tonight while watching Boardwalk Empire I enjoyed Westmalle's Trappist Ale Dubbel. I wouldn't go out of my way to drink it, but solid in its own right.

Sorry, beer thread. I have ignored you. Interested parties can go to http://beeradvocate.com/user/profile/Reaper16 to see most of what I've been up to.
Hosted a party at my fabulous casa last night. The beer refuse in my fridge is crazy. There is no room in my fridge for anything other than the beer that people left in it. Final tally of beers left in my fridge: 2x Samuel Adams Boston Lager, 1x Samuel Adams Black Lager, 2x Samuel Adams Irish Red, 2x Samuel Adams Coastal Wheat, 1x Magic Hat Hex, 19x Miller High Life, 4x Miller Lite, 11x Coors Light, 5x Keystone Light, 1x Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, 1x Sweetwater IPA, 12x Yuengling Lager, 3x Yuengling Black & Tan. |

Goose Island Honker's Ale has been my go-to choice lately. Some pretty good stuff.

Well, I'm on my 3,456th Guinness, I think I'm on the verge of trying another brand...
