We won't hear about him during the season either.

He and his receiver will be ghost town, never a part of the action. McDuffie Island will grow over time when people realize he's shutting his guy down.

While not hearing anything about the guy IS a nothingburger, we did hear quite a bit about Eric Berry and Marcus Peters in their offseasons. Both guys were making plays day 1 and then into training camp. It's nice to hear that kind of stuff, of course.

Those two were notable ball hawks though. McDuffie's talent is he blankets his receivers and the QB never throws in his direction

Shake my head. He IS shining. I've mentioned this before, you aren't going to hear about McDuffie. His play isn't Marcus Peters baiting the QB to throw after letting a guy get open and then recovering fast enough to make the interception.

McDuffie's play is "the QB never throws to his receiver because he's blanketed" and that's exactly what is happening so far, save a miracle catch by Skyy Moore. They're moving McDuffie all over the defense and he's running with the 1s

I've never had such a wide range of emotions during the play where Marcus Peters ripped the ball out of Kelvin Benjamin's hands and then immediately punted the ball into the stands. "Yes! Peters is an absolute beast!" and then "NOOOOO!!! YOU INCREDIBLY STUPID ****!!!"

Not trying to stir things up but IMO you guys should have taken Elam, he’s going to be the better pro corner.

I think I'd rather have the guy that plays bigger than his size than the guy who plays smaller than his size. Elam is kind of a weak competitor. Bad tackler, lazy fundamentals and relies on his length rather than being in the right place at the right time.

Loses his leverage unnecessarily.
Allows a little too much clearance early in the route.
Needs better open-and-sprint timing when squatting underneath.
Vertical specialists can overtake and stack him.
Inconsistent digesting route combinations.
Too much panic and grab in his 2021 tape.
Can improve his eye balance between the man and the ball.
Doesn't play to his size in run support duties.
Inconsistent coming to balance as open-field tackler.
