OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

That's technically filter evasion and against the rules.

Next time just type it out

The Alex Smith haters will never give Alex any credit.... They'd rather we go 8-8 and but have a QB who throws for more TDs.

Tyreek Hill's game-changing ability is why we weren't 8-8 last year.

Alex Smith led us to the playoffs long before Tyreek Hill got here.

The punts Dustin Colquitt put this defense in position for some righteous turnovers that put us in the win column.

I'd rather we have a QB who has the ability to score TDs when the team really needs one, or even when we just need to put the game out of reach.

Because it doesn't really make all that much sense to rely on that bottom 10 run defense to hold a 2 point lead through the 3rd and 4th quarter. Right? Doesn't it make more sense to put up a TD or two in that span so that you protect your defense as much as possible?

You make a good point but lets admit it Alex Smith is the ultimate game manager and he is a good QB who knows how to win games.

I give Alex Smith credit going 1-3 in the playoffs for the Chiefs if we give him credit for the wins during the season then he deserves credit for the losses in the playoffs.

You should know better than trying to use common sense.

He got us our first playoff win in like 50-yrs... He would have gotten us 2 wins if it wasn't for our D given up 44-pts against the Colts.

He deserves plenty of credit for coming to a trash organization at the time (2-14, worst offense in the league) and turning this organization around. As does Reid.

Alex Smith's Guide to Winning Games
by Alex Smith

1. Get a lead, preferably through defense or special teams scores

2. Don't do anything

3. Make the defense do everything

4. Flash that winning smile

I completely disagree. His game is more about being aggressive when he needs to be and not making mistakes...

He plays it safe so he doesn't put his D/team in a bad position which is Alex Smith led teams are consistently winners.
