shit she drives a new car every year anymore. they give her free maintenance, she just knows I appreciate good stuff.

she hasnt brought me a chicken, but she brings eggs every week.

and has brought me a couple guinea hens. they were pretty good eating.

I had dinner out for a work function. We went to a locally owned place. Think Applebee's/Ruby Tuesday, but better quality and decent BBQ if you are not judging by KC standards. I have eaten there at least 150 times but probably closer to 250. I'm kind of to the point where even though this is a very good restaurant, one of the benefits of retiring will be that I don't have to eat here anymore.

They had fried okra as one of the specials tonight. Religious experience. Delicate texture. Not the least bit greasy. Wonderfully seasoned. By far the best fried okra I have ever eaten. That place that I had been to so many times still had a trick up its sleeve.

I've had them. And agree.

We have been killing the broccoli and cheese the last several months, it goes well with just about everything.

I buy the Aldi steam bag
Cook for the 4 to 5 min.
Dump in bowl
Add small chucks of velveta and cover with lid so it melts
Drain moisture, mix and add shredded cheese, cover again until melted
Mix again and serve

Good stuff!

Okay, dough is in the fridge. With the ice water, the dough was very cool even after processing. I can see why it takes 3 days for the yeast to work.

tonight i am gonna use the leaked kentucky recipe.

oddly enough, it is really close to a lot of spices i have used.

now i just need to get the extra krispy recipe.

so, homemade kentucky fried chicken/steaks, mashed tators, and corn

honestly, i love kentucky's flavour, i hate the texture.

if my previous fried chicken is any indication, all i need is the seasoning

and i have plenty of white pepper
