Maybe by “championship season” he means beating the Chiefs once. We all watched the Raiders have a “championship season” last year when they won their SB in Arrowhead.

PSII can cover TK. No problem. Keeping TK from getting catches is another matter. Meaning he's got the speed to keep up. But he'll get tricked, he won't be in the box lined up across from TK...so WTF are we talking about? SO if TK is playing the Y Tightend...PSII probably isn't a factor and it's up to linebacker. If TK is playing the F Tightend...PSII could probably cover him in certain situations, but not consistently and not without more experience.

He could be talking about preseason. They're killing it against everyone's backups

I guess that could be said about almost every CB....ha.

This was a fluff piece to justify passing on Fields...Kelce isn't the reason the Donks have lost 11 straight, it's their QB and crappy o-line.

Sounds like a Raider fan here at work. He starts the season so optimistic, it's gonna be our year, rah rah.

About 6 games in he's saying they suck.

So.....is PSII what they're going with? An obsolete game console or an obsolete computer connection for mice and keyboards? Okay. Well, your nicknames aren't any better than your team, so, good fit.

From an NFL agent survey by Sando:

Quote:
7. Among GMs or front-office leaders, who is the best talent evaluator?

Colts GM Chris Ballard (10.5 votes)

• “He does things with such excellence. Gathers wisdom from people he trusts. He listens. Has such a wise approach.”

• “His pedigree as a former college assistant. He’s evaluated players throughout his career, so he gets it.”

Broncos GM George Paton (four votes)

• “The talent influx in Denver will go up dramatically.”

Seahawks GM John Schneider (2.5 votes)

• “He does an excellent job of evaluating a player on another team and projecting him into his system.”

8. Among GMs or front-office leaders, whom do you trust the most?

Broncos GM George Paton (3.5 votes)

• “He doesn’t overly complicate things or ride a high horse.”

• “(Paton) has high football intelligence and is a dynamic personality. Trustworthy and a fair negotiator. I think he’s going to have a lot of success in Denver.”

Colts GM Chris Ballard, Browns GM Andrew Berry (three votes)

• “Chris Ballard and no one else.”

• “Andrew Berry is young and still learning the ropes, but he keeps it straight-up with agents. He’s involved and doesn’t just punt contracts to the cap guy like some teams.”

Seahawks GM John Schneider (2.5 votes)

• “He’s always dealt with me with a lot of integrity.”

The inclusion of John Schneider as one of the best talent evaluators kills any credibility that list had.

Veach did get 3 votes for best GM. I wholeheartedly disagree, but here it is.

Quote:
10. Who is the best GM and why?

Colts GM Chris Ballard (10 votes)

• “Straight shooter and honest. He’s extremely seasoned and learned from some of the best ever. He’s excellent on the football side and a great human being in terms of dealing with people. Also fantastic with the cap and contracts. So well-rounded.”

• “His relationships with his staff, coach and players show the respect for him and how he handles himself.”

Bills GM Brandon Beane (four votes)

• “It’s hard to not look at Buffalo rebuilding its entire culture and be impressed.”

• “He put an organization together top to bottom with a great culture and staff. He leads in a very positive way.”

Saints GM Mickey Loomis, Chiefs GM Brett Veach (three votes)

• “(Loomis) lets the guys he’s hired do their job and doesn’t shy away from conversations about contracts or how they can improve the team across the board. He’s a very good communicator.”

• “The Saints keep finding a way to beat the cap and keep their good players around.”

• “(Veach is) finding cheap talent to keep the Chiefs going around Mahomes.”

I won't argue with Ballard. But what has Schneider done since Wilson got paid? And what has Patton done period? Signed Kirk Cousins and Teddy Bridgewater? And how is Brett Veach not in that list??? He's a better GM than those 3 combined. The extension to Mahomes, the offensive line rebuild this off-season, finding Sneed in the 5th round last year. And that's just scratching the surface.

. You disagree with 3 votes? You need to open your eyes. You only wish that your Donkeys could find a GM as good as Veach. Paton passed on Fields and signed Bridgewater. That's enough by itself to take him completely off the list.

So Paton is responsible for that fully guaranteed contract for Cousins?..then passing on Fields for a CB?

Anyone that thought Cousins was their answer at QB should not be on this list...period.

I said "he is what he is" when they signed him...how someone, who does this for a living, couldn't see that is bizarre. Then throws a mountain of cash at him...yikes.

Sounds like Garappolo is almost a certainty now...
