Why can't he pimp it as an effective solution for singles or small spaces. Maybe he sent his daughter off to college with one, or his nana has one in her living center. Not everyone has a 5-star stainless steel kitchen with commercial fixtures in every living space.

I wish Alton Brown would come out with a line of kitchen gadgets. On his shows he always digs to find the best tools for the job, and I cannot find some of his quirkiest gadgets despite looking for years.
