They're not getting Rodgers this year. Also, chances are worse for them next year, as other teams will have more to offer. They're also gonna miss out on Watson. He's likely going to Philly. I'll laugh so hard when they end up with Jimmy G.

Man, that's the voice of a guy who was told to make the broncos look good, and he was mailing it in.

The summary is that the broncos will be successful if:

The broncos' head coach who is on the hot seat suddenly becomes good.

and

If the broncos get one of the league's best quarterbacks from another team

and

Melvin Gordon suddenly becomes serviceable

and

a bunch of young receivers all play well

and

Garrett Bolles' fluke year last year wasn't a fluke

and

Von Miller becomes "several years" younger and they don't have injuries at that position

and

their rookie cornerback plays like a high-skills veteran.

and

they overcome the worst quarterbacking in the league.



Okay, yeah. If all of those things happen, maybe the broncos can be competitive on the field, despite having the league's worst front office.

Deal is, even as things stood, had the WR's caught a few miracle throws Mahomes made under pressure, it's a different game.

I feel like this article should have been about the Chargers. They look to have a potential top 10 QB with a talented roster.

For the Broncos it’s simple: do you have Rodgers? Bc without him you have no chance
