The 10pm thread (archived)

The big anti-hijack thread.....
Talk about anything, but if this works than we don't have to keep looking around all the threads to see who is still on tonight, and every night, or even every day! Talk about the chiefs, talk about tomorrow, talk about football, politics or even how to do flooring and the applicable budget. What you're drinking, how hard it is to sleep, etc. Every thing is acceptable in this thread.....

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldcloc...om.html?sort=2 see for yourself, it is ten o'clock somewhere.

Im chillin with one of my friends about November of 2005. He tells me that his band, Stiletto Silhouette, would be playing in TJ in January. Not only that, but his band will be co-headlining the show with Cypress Hill. The weird thing is that my friends band is Metal, Cypress Hill is rap. Anyways, it was called the Des Madre Fest (some Rap-Metal Hybrid show).

We had always joked about me wearing a bear suit during one of their shows. And when we found out that the show would be on Jan. 21, my birthday, the lead singer decided to buy me a bear suit for my Birthday. I wore the suit that night, bought a cheap little guitar in TJ before the show, came out, pretended to play it, and then smashed the living hell out of it before tossing it into the crowd.

So after Stiletto played, it was time for Cypress Hill to come out, but for some reason they decided not to play and as they left the building, a riot erupted, federales had to be brought in to control the riot.

It was The Suck.

Anyways, the nostalgia of that night would never be forgotten, and I continue to wear it to their shows.

Wow, what an utterly boring story.

It would have taken me 4 hours to tell the whole story. And there is no 6 am thread on here.

I never really gave it much thought until now. Nevertheless, that's one they didn't bother to teach us in Spanish II.

I've seen Cypress Hill in concert. They ruled. How very strange that they decided to not play. Any idea why?

by the way, how does the bear suit work when picking up girls?

Do you say things like, "Hey, beautiful, feed a bear some honey?"
