I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.

KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.

One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future.

Christ, I love the depth on this team. I feel like Jake & Curt are the only 2 with guaranteed starting spots, which is pretty cool.

I feel like Wally is going to go batshit crazy this year & was pretty impressed with the way Spradling played. Wasn't a huge fan of giving him a scholie, but looks like he knows what he's doing. Hoping to see Southwell & Asprilla continue to get time as well, I'm a big fan of both of them.

Anyone know when Jamar gets back?

If Wally played like he did in the few minutes of game I caught last night, he's gonna be a beast.

Curtis Kitchen said the Cat's had a 2 hour practice before the Newman game. Not surprised at all. Coach has done that in the past.

Circle HS DT Jordan Phillips (OU Commit). There's been some rumors he may be 2nd guessing his commit, but I think it's BS. He just wanted a ticket to the UT game, imo.

Well, hopefully he will seriously reconsider his commit, considering that OU has alot of DT's that are underclassmen, and I don't see him getting much PT while at OU, whereas if he were to enroll at KSU, I think he'd see significant playing time alongside with Harold.
