Her character had so much weight.

Rey, on the other hand, was a Mary Sue. Even though she was a poor scavenger that lived in the burned out shell of an AT-AT, when faced with danger the first time in her life, she beat up male aliens, alluded Imperial soldiers, knew how to fly the Millennium Falcon, knew to how to "hotwire" a cargo ship in order to kill Rathars, had a Force vision and was able to defeat a fully trained Dark Side Force user.

We know nothing of her true character because everything's been easy for her. No struggle, no real resistance, no real challenges.

She's a Disney Princess.
I'd love to have this conversation but there's really no point. I'm just glad you like Rogue One and Rebels.

Sooo glad I didnt participate in the killing of Luke Skywalker, I have no interest in Rey and Finn, they can both die at the beginning of #3... still cant believe they didnt save Luke for the finale

Snoke looks stupid, unworthy of a true Star Wars villain

This whole thing has already gone to hell, this movie needs more Skywalker...

So now Rey and Solos bastard are meeting in some kind of force induced dream, I'm digging it.... but that original magic is clearly missing

Its like expecting some new Conan to meet or exceed the original movie, it just cant happen without the right script... when this one kills Luke, kiss my ass Hollywood its over

I'll always have the first three, just as it always was....

Luke Skywalker the White will be making an appearance in 9. Like Jon Snow before him, it's going to be epic.

Finally picked up the movie on Redbox for 54 cents (had a coupon code) and watched it for the very first time. I didn’t have very high expectations going into it based on things I’d heard, so I wasn’t expecting much.

I got pretty much what I paid for. What an abortion of a movie! This didn’t even ‘feel’ like Star Wars. WTF?!? It was like watching Guardians of the Galaxy trying to be SW. I didn’t even enjoy any part of the movie till a couple scenes in the last 30-45 minutes. Very little redeeming elements to this movie. What a shitty way to close the book on the Skywalker/Solo crew (yes, I realize Ben Solo is still around).

If this is the direction SW is going now, **** it, I’m out. They should just stick to doing stand-alone movies like ‘Rogue One’, which was very well done. This garbage isn’t fit for an iMax screen.

To quote Luke . . . . “What a piece of junk”

For all you sinner heathens out there not celebrating religious things, TNT is playing the entire Star Wars story today, from Phantom Menace to The Force Awakens. They're on A New Hope right now. It's such a trip watching and listening to it again after so many years; when I was little my parents bought me two vinyl records containing all of the dialogue from the movie. It's like a time warp listening to it all, lol.

You're missing out.

Luke, Chewie and BB-8 steal the show.

Every scene with Kylo and Snoke is awesome.
