The point of playing what games? Liberty went undefeated too in an even worse conference, is that supposed to mean something?

This is the committee’s stated mission:

“The selection committee’s task will be to select the best teams, rank the teams for inclusion in the playoff and selected other bowl games and then assign the teams to sites.”

Unless that mission involves picking FSU over better teams for no reason, they don't fit that criteria. How is anybody still talking about this after this weekend?

Would have been better than picking FSU.

Correct.

Everyone knows they pick “the best teams”. Not the most deserving or some weird criteria like that.

The committee could always have made an automatic qualifier for P5 undefeated champs. They didn’t, because they knew a Florida State situation was always possible.

Nick needs to do some QB shopping in the off season. They are never going to win anything with Mildew under center. I have baited my fishing hooks with things, sporting a higher IQ than Mildew.

We are getting old.

Years ago I'd be peaking about half time of this late game ready to stay up another 4 hours and pound booze.

I missed that game and had wondered the same thing... I was surprised Bama got pushed around so easily tonight, but figured their QB alone would make it a relatively easy game for Georgia.
