*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I'm already getting the Madden ultimate team itch. I tend to do it every other year and I skipped last year. He should be a 90 starting out in MUT though.

Patrick Mahomes has started 80 games

The Chiefs have only lost 2 of them by more than one score. 2 of 80.

By far the best rate of we've seen in NFL history. His ceiling is best in the NFL & his floor is such that even in his worst games he keeps his team competitive.

It’s amazing that every single chart or graph posted about some random or specific stat, Mahomes is always basically lapping the field. There aren’t stats complete enough to actually show how good he is. If you could somehow combine all of those charts into one you might then have something.

Mahomes is the best player in football history.

Not sure people will be able to fully appreciate it until he’s done.

He’s not just the best right now, he’s the best by a hilariously large margin. It’s insane.

Even some of the best players they ever have a hard time defining it , the eye test shows it the stats prove they just don’t understand how he’s doing it .

I believe the vast majority of Chiefs fans (those who religiously watch the games) understand what we're witnessing. It's the people who only watch the highlights that don't appreciate what he's doing.

If he stays the course, he'll go down in history as the best to ever play the game, let alone the position

I wonder who #2 is. This stat is already unbelievable, I am curious how much better it is than the #2 QB.

Mahome only issue is that his "stats" are going to be put in the Wilt Chamberland category one day.

Where people acknowledge but almost dismiss them for xyz reason when talking about the larger stat field.

Some already do. There are those out there who credit Andy for what Mahomes has accomplished. They essentially believe a lot of QBs would have done what Mahomes has if they had Andy scheming plays.
