*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Delivered another championship for the city of KC, and put himself as the top dog in the league! He’s just getting started.

He’s the reason why we have hosted 5 AFCCGs, been to three of the last four SBs and have won two of them. I read other boards sometimes to see how other fans view him and it’s amazing. He’s their Elway, Manning, Brady etc….If he gets the ball last they know him leading a game winning drive is inevitable. That is a man that puts the team on his shoulders and wills them to win. No one can question whether he gave his all every game.

We have twice as many SBs in four years with him than in the team’s entire history. When he retires he will go down as one of if not the best to ever play the position and we as fans will not know how to handle a Chiefs team that wasn’t dominant every year. The transition will be rough at best.

Oh. Oh man. Let's not think about that yet. Plenty of time for that misery later.
