Hmmmm I know it's still early, but I'm not feeling the revolutionary vibe here. Seems like this kind of thing has been around for a couple decades.

I'll admit. I get the value of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. But at least to how NFT's compare to art - I just don't see the value. I'm ****ing old.

There still has to be a marketplace that brings the buyer and seller together right? They'll want a cut.

I can’t disagree with this but you do realize the Us Monetary policy right now is not sustainable right? Money was never supposed to have central authority over access and supply.

And Ticketmaster is a problem that blockchain will fix. Much like Title Agencies, Realtors and other middlemen wedged in between Alice and Bob trying to make a seamless transaction w/o getting raped.

I have some NFT's I want to list, but the gas fees are so high, it's like $300 just to list.

So how do buyers find sellers? There has to be some kind of marketplace right? And that marketplace will want a cut and there will likely also be gas fees. So won't that mean there will just be a crypto version of ticketmaster/StubHub etc?

Good video about crypto and NFTs (from a hater obviously). It's long but I learned a ton.

Apt choice of words considering Russia's threat to ban BTC mining is at the root of the crash.

Help a dummy understand this.

How is their threat of banning mining causing the price to go down?
