It still leaves him without a QB as well as most or all of his defensive leadership, but he'd at least be able to run the ball and protect whatever shitass QB he trots out there, whether that's Flacco or that dweeb Lock. Or maybe even some other veteran he overpays for (like Matt Moore lol!)

But, I still don't think that's a bad enough team to TRULY bottom out and land Lawrence. They would need some spectacular coaching incompetence and players quitting on the team like what happened with Romeo in order for that to take place. Either that or he'd need to have a Dolphins-like fire sale. That means trading away Chubb or any of the defensive starters. Perhaps Sutton or whatever the **** Denver claims their best WR to be. Like... a full on bottom-the-****-out tank job. Miami Dolphins-style. And do it a week before the season starts.

THEN they might be able to land Lawrence.
If they start Lock next year they will land Lawrence.

I don't megathread very well, so apologies if this has been discussed to heck and back already ... (fabulously talented mods, please note the lack of vulgarity) ... but have you guys heard about the ex-donk who gunned his lady down?

Some dude by the name of Justin Bannan went all Hey Joe on her ass. Apparently stole some of her stuff, too.

Thankfully, she's going to be okay. I'm not so sure about him since the authorities caught him before he made it to the border.

On a hilarious note: The Broncos are currently ahead of the Chargers in the AFC-W.

Hell, with the RBs and defense... gimme Tebow. That kid had heart, it was ugly to watch, but I'll take him now over Flacco.

You said what I've been thinking when I watch him play this year. He threw 2 picks again yesterday. The kid in no way looks anywhere near as good as he did last year in the National Championship game. I suppose he has all the measurables, but he sure does not look the part of the next best QB prospect since Andrew Luck.

Naw, Flacco is a "Super Bowl Winning QB."
Enjoy!

I don't know if Lawrence is worth waiting for. Honestly, I'd draft a QB every single ****ing year until I landed one if I were John Elway and working for a franchise with no actual owner.

Maybe he'll land one and go, "look, see. We got a future!!!" and save his job for a few more years. But at the same time, I feel a lot of teams should be drafting a QB every year.

It just doesn't make a **** if you got a stud pass-rusher, long dicked Tight End or a super fast RB if you ain't got a QB. If you don't have a QB, you don't have shit.

I honestly think you can tell if a QB has "it" within 3 games...there will be glimpses of potential.

Teams hang on to the Mariotas and Winstons way too long...If Lock looks lost at the end of the season, the Donks should bail....but they wont because Horseface sucks at his job/ego is too inflated...and we love him for that....he's like the Chiefs best friend...handing them 2 wins a year.

I remember Knowmo trying to peddle him to us as this big awesome fearsome ferocious player long ago. That's all I remember about him, though.

Needless to say, that didn't exactly happen the way Knowmo said it would.

Broncos apparently had Devin Bush written on their draft card, but decided to trade their pick to the Steelers, who drafted him.

Here’s what Devin Bush has done:

▫️ 52 combined tackles (10th in NFL)
▫️ Four fumble recoveries
▫️ 2 picks
▫️ 1 TD

Good job John!

That's why I laughed and laughed and laughed when they passed on Bush for Fant. Elway is beyond stupid.
