The 10pm thread (archived)

The big anti-hijack thread.....
Talk about anything, but if this works than we don't have to keep looking around all the threads to see who is still on tonight, and every night, or even every day! Talk about the chiefs, talk about tomorrow, talk about football, politics or even how to do flooring and the applicable budget. What you're drinking, how hard it is to sleep, etc. Every thing is acceptable in this thread.....

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldcloc...om.html?sort=2 see for yourself, it is ten o'clock somewhere.

They have two distinct advantages over us. First, they don't have Carl. Second, they aren't owned by a family that refuses to fire people for stupidity and incompetence.

Do some research on the Hunt family.

They're not rich because they're reeruns....

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I'm quite sure they follow a completely different decision making process in their other business interests. Nearly every wealthy person I've known (granted none as rich as the Hunts) have had one "pet" business that is treated differently for whatever reason. I don't get it, but I've never been in a position where I could afford to piss away money on a business interest.

Your hobby is brewing basement beer or farting around on the intraweb or building rockets in the back yard.

Some people (lucky bastards) can afford to buy a sports franchise and that's their hobby. It's a side plus for their down time.

I'd love to get angry at them but honestly, it's what they are to me too...

Being rich is so easy to maintain if you aren't a moron. If you gave me one million dollars, I'm 100% certain I could turn it into 5 million in five years. Just diversify your business interestrs. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Buy a restaurant franchise around town, buy a apartment complex, invest in different stocks and mutual funds, etc. Once you get enough money, you can basically earn money on itself.

Think he'll change his avatar now? I bet Diego pulls a indy and gets a new kicker. 2 straight home playoff games blew with that ugly mother****er.

For missing a 50somthing yarder? No.

They need to cut Parker. He is the one who dropped and fumbled away the game.
