And to think it all started with Aaron Judge booting a routine play. Unreal.

I sat through that game and watched as all the little things came back to haunt the Yankees. It was as glorious as it could be.

Another thing I learned from this series is that "Shohei Ohtani" translates into English as "Lamar Jackson."

Watching their ace pitcher start to cover 1st, then just … “oh Rizzo’s got it… oh wait he doesn’t have it .. and I’m standing here like a ****ing g statue”.
How could I NOT love it that a play you work on in spring training and should practice a little each series throughout the seqson, would be part of a bevy of unearned runs that would be the stake through the Yankees fans and players hearts? From the jumping high 5’s of the first inning where there shithead, soulless, fans, KNEW they were going to win and then the slow, funeral like procession of the 5th inning and seeing the grievous look on their faces as the dream was dying in real time like watching wicked witch slowly melting and they knew that it was over. Sure, the Yankees scratched out a run to get the lead, but even then, any ground ball, any pitch- it was just waiting to happen. And it was like, for me, like seeing a work of art transformed into reality. **** the Yankees. And **** their fans. |

His shoulder literally being dislocated during the series may have had something to do with the struggles (particularly considering his impressive playoff numbers up until that happened).

Having been a Chief fan that's lost those games, I looked deep in my soul to find some sympathy for the fans...NOPE. **** them. I found a flicker of sympathy for the 5th inning pitcher because he was ****ing grinding, but it was fleeting. God it was fun. |
