​A 28-year-old Lake Charles-area woman faces a bevy of charges after Louisiana police said she repeatedly had sex with a 13-year-old boy who she met at the Bible camp where she was a teacher/aide.

According to the Sulphur Daily News, Heather Daughdrill initiated the relationship in June and it continued until a complaint was filed in October. After her arrest on November 29, police told the paper that Daughdrill would pick her victim up from school without his parents' knowledge and subject him to sexual encounters. Louisiana cops also reportedly found sexually explicit texts between Daughdrill and her victim.

Age is an obvious factor here. There is such a thing as "too young". I'd say pre-HS would be considered too young. But once in HS...guys want to get laid....period. And unless it's some weird case of drugging the student, or harassment/stalking/blackmail by said teacher, you're going to have a really hard time convincing me to feel bad about a HS teen guy banging out his teacher.

I mean who hasn't thought about that growing up? I don't know if that porn was "normal" in the 70's. But there weren't that many people watching porn videos prior to the VHS explosion in the 80's. Sure, a few were going to X-rated theaters. But I would guess that most people looking at porn in that era was magazine based. Of course, the magazines had various genres just like today.

Well that could be. And I think today's age of information is part of that. But there's more teens watching porn now than ever before because now it's just a click away. I think it's pretty safe to assume that. Before the internet boom you had to either come across dad's/bro's magazines or VHS tapes. My first porno was Jenny McCarthy's playboy VHS video from like 1994, and I was like 10-11 at the time and watched it at a friend's house. I was an only child growing up until my mid teens when my parents re-married after divorce so I didn't have access to older bro's porn VHS/mags collection like some would have, and my dad was the more conservative type, or he just hid his shit really well. The married Texas teacher who famously flashed a broad smile in her mugshot after being accused of romping with a 17-year-old student pleaded guilty this week to the crime.

Sarah Madden Fowlkes, 28, submitted her plea Thursday to a Caldwell County judge, who has yet to accept it, according to FOX 29 San Antonio.

The agreement would require Fowlkes to serve four years deferred adjudication, pay a fine and surrender her teacher’s license, according to the report.

Her lawyer, Jason Nassour, had previously claimed Fowlkes looked so cheerful in her mugshot because she was innocent.

“This isn’t a guilty person sitting there like they just got caught,” he told NBC DFW at the time. “When everything’s fleshed out, it won’t be as it appears.”

Fowlkes, who taught anatomy and physiology at Lockhart High School, was accused of engaging in “sexual content with the intent to arouse or gratify the sexual desire” of the student in March 2017, according to reports at the time.

Detectives launched the investigation after getting a tip from a school administrator. The probe led them to the boy, who had been in touch with Fowlkes, cops said.

“Their contact was of a sexual nature,” police said.

She was suspended after turning herself in to police.
