*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I saw somewhere he's on pace for 5,800 total yards. Ridiculous.

I think Hurts and Allen are the next closest and they're both on pace for around 5,400 total yards.

And the fact he’ll likely have to play in Week 18 with the rest of the Chiefs starters to keep pace with Buffalo for the #1 seed will help make his final regular season stats ridiculous… MVP caliber.

Upon rewatching that Denver game....shit Mahomes really did put the D behind the 8 ball quite a bit.

The first pick, whatever. They're trying to go score before the half at 27-0 and put it away. Whatever.

The 2nd one...come on. Throw it in the dirt and move on.

There's a saying in golf. "If you're gonna lay up, lay up."

Kinda fits here. If youre gonna throw it away, throw it away. Don't give anyone a chance.

The first two INTs were great plays by the defense.

What really sucks is that the media never acknowledges that Mahomes has the worst roster of the best teams. Buffalo and Cincy for sure have much better rosters and yet Mahomes has 10 wins with a vastly harder schedule. Whenever another great QB loses its excuse city and when they win they get credit. Mahomes loses he gets the blame.

He doesn't say it much. If we had the Bengals skill players and defense we would have no loses. If we had just the Buffalo defense we would have no loses. Burrow hasn't gone through less talent yet and neither has Allen. They pick low in the draft a few years and it will happen. Money will be an issue after Joe gets paid. That we core will get worse. Joe will want 55 per year and Chase will want 35 per year.

No saying they don't but it will hurt the talent of the roster. Higgins will want a shit ton as well and they won't be able to do it.
