Defense felt shaky at times during this run, but every single time they needed to step up they did. Hats off to Spagnuolo and all the guys; they were tremendous for all these games.

I’m just glad we got that first one. Everything else is gravy.

And I love me some gravy.

the thing is this-

every year, teams overpay for Kirk Cousins.

And let's be clear- Jimmy G is Kirk Cousins. Or Case Keenum. Same ****ing guy.

And Andy Reid goes 2-1 with Matt ****ing Moore, fresh from coaching high school when Mahomes goes down. Making league minimum.

If your guy isn't elite, don't ****ing pay him shit. Because he's not going to win you a trophy.

Unless he's elite, he's completely replaceable. There's like 20 guys that can do that job. Do NOT overpay for that. You can get veteran stop-gap guys that mostly won't LOSE you games in lots of places.

But unless you've got one of those SPECIAL guys, like top 5 in the game type guys (or a young guy that legitimately has a chance to be one of those guys) you're wasting your time.

Just go get a Fitzpatrick and draft a kid. Seriously.

What's crazy is that was nowhere close to the Chiefs A game on offense and they won by 11 points.

I give credit to Niners defense, they played awesome. But Patrick was missing some throws to open guys that he normally hits. So you can't say it was 100% the defense slowing down the KC offense.

So the question is, what happens if they can get a KC defensive performance like this one mixed with an A-Level performance by the offense? It's scary stuff.
