*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

When Pat throws ints, it's usually the types like he threw against the Jags. It's him being too agressive and forcing a play happen. Unlike Herbert and Allen who have thrown some really bad ints. Pat throws it right at the receiver who happens to be tightly covered. Big distinction to make.

I want to find an angle of the kelce TD that shows mahomes yelling at the Jags Mahomes veered off from the td celebration and seemed to go over toward 5.

Last week Mahomes passed Trent Green as #2 alltime in Chiefs passing yards

He needs like 300 yards to pass Alex Smith as the top Chiefs career rushing QB (Alex had 1672 as a Chief)

He absolutely did. And then he and Kelce were both chirping at Cisco and one other guy (#2?) as they were going off the field.

I honestly wonder if that's why Mahomes didn't throw the pick he threw. At a point there it looked like they were trying to embarrass Cisco and he thought he could rifle one past him to get him again.

They're human - they get emotional about stuff like that and occasionally it bites them.

Mahomes and Kelce were absolutely looking to embarrass Cisco out there. They were pissed and they were fine letting him know it.

That makes sense. Sometimes you get fixated on a "**** this guy in particular" mindset and it causes you to make a mistake.

Oh well, something you live with with a guy as competitive as Mahomes.

From where I was standing I couldn't see for sure if it was Cisco he went after but I assumed it was. #2 sounds right as well, I believe he was the one celebrating the hit on mvs with Cisco the most.

FUUUUUUUUUCK

I didn't think the pressure was that serious. I thought he got it off sooner than that.

Son of a bitch. That's incredible.

They held Kelce because they knew he’s the “security blanket”

They sent their best defender in Mahomes grill, and he rifled a bomb to MVS right over Walker’s face. A pass placed perfectly where only our guy could get it. And it was a spectacular catch as well
