*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

patrick was mad as **** during the third quarter and shortly thereafter he went out and launched an absolute piss missile to turn it around

then the rest of the team followed suit

amazing, amazing to see

Pat had to do some crazy Mahomes shit in this one. Loved seeing it, but hope he doesn't have to do that every week.

I loved how the pregame stuff was talking about Herbert being 2-0 in Arrowhead without mentioning that the first was week 17 when the Chiefs were resting starters and the second was squeaking out a win when the Chiefs had 4 self-inflicted TOs. Dude's been playing on loaded teams, puts up big numbers but doesn't win shit.

I was at the 4 TO game...it was frustrating as hell. Glad we got the win this time. Pat is other worldly, and even when he has a "bad" game, it's a good game for any other QB in the league. He just has such a high standard, he will always be criticized for every little mistake.

I had no complaints about mahomes in this game. Did he have some poor passes? Sure. Did he have some fantastic passes? Oh yeah. I'd rather have him slinging than afraid to fail. If our defense continues to improve, we can absorb those mistakes and mahomes will stay aggressive.

I never want to see Bengals second half mahomes again. Give me super bowl winning mahomes that got picked off twice and still kept firing.

Mahomes took some big shots while standing tall in the pocket last night. The dude is a warrior. I'm just glad he didn't suffer a serious injury from the low hit from Bosa

I don’t envy anyone with this assignment. The chargers Pass rush is elite. But we all know Joey will inevitably fall off physically at some point. I thought they held up as well as you can expect them to.

This is the blueprint of a defense that we’ve struggled against. A team that has elite corners and can bring pressure. Of course I’d love to blow out every team but it shows we’re at least evolving and adapting. We played it better than we have in the past.

Yeah I’m fine with Mahomes being aggressive

That’s his nature you can’t make him into Alex Smith or Tom Brady
