Well, they were improving. They played the Chiefs much better than I had expected in both games. Heck, before Harris and Sanders got hurt, I thought that they had a real shot at grabbing that 6th playoff spot.

1-5 at home after the bogus first two weeks (which Denver always seems to get at home) was TEX and mine's point. It's the EARLY week advantage that gifts cheap wins

Yeah, they were making decent improvements... the wheels fell off with those guys getting hurt. Just too many injuries to keep what little momentum they had going. It happens.

Of their 10 losses: 5 against 4 playoff teams
Chiefs X2 (4 and 7 pts), Rams (3 pts), Ravens (13 pts), Texans (2 pts)

They played a tough schedule - weren't that great and that gives you 6-10.

They just might, since they're irrelevant. And IF they do stop getting special treatment by the schedule makers, they'll be out of it by the end of October. And you'll still be running your shtick on how it doesn't matter...
