Seeing as Bearcat banned me from the KU basketball thread for daring to use statistics to dispel the constant trashing of the team’s best player this year by far, I’ll need somewhere to put my thoughts for this year’s tournament.

In sum, the committee screwed KU again. Their resume (and wins) should have had them at at least a 6 seed and maybe even a 5. Arkansas is also the toughest matchup they could have had among possible opponents and KU matches up horribly against them (stay tuned as to why).

As far as the rest of the tournament goes, I’m picking Houston to win it all and Kentucky (fraud) to lose in the first or second round.

Good day for the SEC as well. 3-0 today and have 6 teams in the Sweet 16, tying the all time record (ACC had 6 teams in 2016).

Ole Miss plays tonight for a chance at #7, although I don’t see them beating Iowa State.

Maryland with the buzzer beater. Great game. Also means no one lower than a 10 seed will be in the Sweet 16. Arkansas made it, New Mexico is the only double digit seed left and they're playing right now.
