If the Vikings steal the 1 seed, it’s possible.

The route for the 2/3 seed in the NFC is really really tough.

It'd be back-to-back Super Bowls for Darnold.

I've enjoyed a break the past couple seasons, which besides playing on Christmas Day, works well with the holidays.

It felt like *I* had been through some shit after the Raiders game last season. Just caught the end of the Bengals game and didn't give a shit about any other game until WC weekend.

Same for the games so far this week... once the Chiefs game ended, gave no ****s about watching the Ravens and just caught the score at some point just in case it was worth turning on, and the rest of this weekend looks like the perfect chance to take a break from the shit until the real games begin.

Lions/Vikings is probably the one exception.

Minnesota/Detroit looks to be the best choice for SNF currently.

It’s almost impossible for me to wrap my mind around Sam Darnold being a Super Bowl winning QB.

Even harder to imagine him beating Mahomes.

At the same time though, Nick Foles beat Brady a few years ago, so it’s very possible they could beat us. I would like our chances though.

The Patriot and Eagle defenses didn’t exactly do much to make it hard on either QB.

I doubt a Darnold team would score 40 with 500+ yards of total offense on this defense.

Being the one seed is wrapped up in the AFC I've been looking at some of the other races.

-An NFC North team will likely end up with the one seed but which one? It's shaping up for a big time show down between the Vikings and Lions in week 18 (assuming the Vikings beat GB.) Winner gets the divisional crown and one seed, loser gets the 5 seed. Wow!
-There's big scramble for the seventh and last seed in the AFC. Broncos control their own destiny if they win against CIN and KC's second string (mostly.) It's kind of impressive Cincy is even this close but in order to get in they need help. Indy is in line for the 7th seed if DEN falters, not Cincy. Indy's final two opponents are the Colts and Jags. For them to drop one of those two would be a surprise.
-If Denver does get the 7th seed they'll go to Buffalo in the Wild Card round. That's a very interesting match up because we know how Well Denver's defense is playing and Buffalo's defense has been struggling mightily for much of the season. If Denver can contain Josh Allen and manufacture some drives against that struggling defense they have a real chance.

My question is would we rather see Indy or Denver go to Buffalo? Personally I don't think the dome team stands a chance at Buffalo in January. Denver matches up better all around. It's just interesting to think about.

Denver and Cincy could give Buffalo a game. I think Indy or Miami gets destroyed.

We should be rooting for the Lions all the way.

We'll tear up their defense, which is hanging by a thread on every snap.

Immobile QB = Spags/Jones feast.

I want no part of the Lions in Super Bowl. Even with all their injuries, they're a really good team. Their offense might get back David Montgomery and defence Aiden Hutchinson for the Super Bowl. Which could tip the balance.

Detroit blows teams out even at non-full strength. Give me Minny or even Philly.

Take the Lions or the Vikings in the SB... We Threepeat or are upset by a team that has had just has much heartache as we had for 50 years prior to 2020.

A 2 seed Eagles team has an absolutely brutal path to the Super Bowl.

We cheer for the Lions.

The Lions are the 2020 Bills or any number of other 'scary' regular season team that has absolutely nothing it can hang its hat on the past couple seasons besides running up the score on shit teams.

It could definitely be a 'be careful for what you wish for' scenario with them, but I'll put my money all that skill not being able to overcome playoff pressure and Campbell doing something unfathomably reeruned when it matters the most.

I'm not currently crazy worried about the Eagles given how they're winning, but at least there's reason to believe they'd give the Chiefs all they can handle, since they did just a couple seasons ago.
